| When playing- Try to write at least a paragraph and try to pay attention to grammar and typing. Grammatical mistakes are not the end of the world (my English grammar is terrible), but please pay attention to typos.
- Do not use smiley-s.
- Always indicate if the thread is open or closed.
Closed: You selected which characters may join the game or you have planned this game with others and don't want anyone to join in. Open: Anyone can join in OR anyone in a certain category can join in (in which case, indicate the group).
- If you start playing in "First person", please stick to it. Same goes to third person or past tense/present tense. Don't change with each post. If you started playing in one way, try to keep it that way. If you are new to role-playing, it's okay to experiment at the beginning, but after playing for a couple of days, we expect you not to change.
- No character is invincible. Don't play them as if they are. All characters have their weaknesses and strengths.
- There are some things that you may know, but your character won't. Make sure and distinguish between in- and out-of-character knowledge.
- You may only use your character, unless the user of another character gives permission for use.
- When fighting/duelling/etc use conditional tense, as it is the Gamemaster (usually) who decides the outcome of such plays.
- When you create a new topic/game, always mention the date of that event. You may play in more than one game, but NOT on the same day. It's very important. Unless your character can copy herself/himself, it is not possible to be two places at once. Keep track of the timeline.
- You may play games that have sexual content, but in that case, put out a warning. Registration is only allowed from 14 years onward, but let's just stay on the safe side.
When registering, creating characters- You may have multiple characters, but only after you used your first character for over 2 weeks. Don't forget about your main character if you have more than 3! Use all of them.
- Your "multi" characters can be of any age if they are students.
- Characters that have been inactive for two months will be archived. If the player returns, they can request the character be moved back.
- Do NOT use celebrity names for your characters. You are role-playing, I'm sure you have a great imagination.
- You may create relatives to your characters and also to others' once you have their permission.
- You may be any kind of character - teacher, student, worker (chef, cleaning lady, gardener, etc), magical creatures, etc, EXCEPT Headmaster or Gamemaster. If we need gamemasters, we'll ask you to join us.
- You can only have 1 character per account. You have to register again to have another character.
If you have ANY question, feel free to contact one of the Headmasters. | |
